Oct 6, 2024. Where do our thoughts roam? For out of heart our mouth speaks. Luke 6:45 "the good treasure of his heart." Do our thoughts and speech exemplify our path, our purpose, the goodness of our Almighty God? Our thoughts radiate out in our actions, our demeanor, our outlook, our hope, our joy and peace, our energy and our health in some regards. Are we a Bright shining light upon a hill that cannot be hidden?(Matt 5:14) Our thoughts are at the root. They decide to what extent God will work with and use us. Are we filled with envy, jealousy, strife, hurt, self-pity. Or are our thoughts founded in the Fruits of the Holy Spirit? Radiating out His Love, joy, peace, contentment, gratitude, grace, understanding and wisdom. Stalwartly Confident in His Love and our Salvation! We have the power in our hands, minds, and hearts. The choice is always ours. God is with us. Making us ever brighter and stronger if we ask, if we are rooted in His Spirit, if we follow His faithful guidance and the nudging of the Holy Spirit. We can be the Bright in someone else's life. God Blesses us and gives us the opportunity to be so. May we be a wonderful Blessing to the world around us. Do we speak truth, light and hope? Our Almighty God gives us that in Abundance. It is up to us to receive it through an attitude of continual appreciation that we may also give it. "Be thankful in all things"Philip 4:6-13 Our Almighty God's Loving Kindness Stands Now and For Eternity! In His Greatest of Love, Henry. Without appreciation we cannot receive His Blessing of Peace beyond all understanding. It is how we are able to receive His Blessing of Peace and Joy. We are in His Capable and Mighty hands.
Sept 22, 2023. Daddy's little Princess? -doesn't a Proverbs 31 wife make. So many women lament not being Daddy's little princess. They've been through hardship, maybe they didn't have a father or maybe they did and he wasn't a "good father", or maybe they didn't appreciate him when they had him. Maybe they've made a bunch of bad choices, decisions. I went on a road trip this summer from comfortably hot central Canada to the hot, steamy, "Hot" gulf coast. I've always hated the Canadian winters. I've been on many winter vacations to Florida and California. I've always thought of these areas as a "Goldilocks zone" I never imagined it as a foreboding, all encompassing "brutally hot" day and "night" environment. How in the world did the settlers ever settle it without air conditioning. I stayed in the Hiltons, Marriotts, Sheratons and the like (I had planned on camping!?) and still the AC just didn't solve it! I froze inside and all but melted outside. I came to a realization... Life was never intended to be comfortable or easy. What makes a real man or woman? Accomplishing great personal feats in life in spite of being uncomfortable or unfortunate. Growing in knowledge, understanding, wisdom and effectively using it all in our world and the world around us. What makes a Proverbs 31 wife/woman ...not the easy, privileged, entitled, Princess life. Those of you who have come through hard and difficult experiences and lives, take true heart! You're on the right track to much Greater Rewards, that will last for all Eternity! You don't need to deal with it. You need to embrace what you've learnt, becoming more while helping others do likewise. You are Strong and growing Stronger! Our Great Father in Heaven and Earth Makes You So! Trust Him, in all His Wisdom and all-Encompassing Love! Henry
Sept 22, 2024. Challenge, Time vs Reward How are we spending our time? What opportunities lie before us? What opportunities are passing us by? Time and opportunity does not wait for us. Only we can choose to engage, if we don't we loose. The most difficult brings the greatest reward. Almost nothing great comes easy. There are exceptions, but the most satisfaction comes through the greatest Struggles! God's gift and love for us each! Henry
People have convictions of the heart and believe that they are all of the Holy Spirit, when it may just be human wisdom based on bad experiences or obsessions. If someone is trying to teach you based on their obsession, you can bet they are wrong in some way, because they want it so badly, they can't see the Truth or the Holy Spirit's guidance right in front of them. We can so easily, "All" be guilty of this. They're convicted, just not of the Spirit. We all need to analyze how our own obsessions have colored, tainted, or blinded our views. We need to be honest with ourselves and so not lead others astray. That's Hard Truth to accept! Because we are obsessed or strongly convicted for whatever reason. We must be careful what we say, or where we lead! People follow!

Fatal Flaw in Church?
1 Peter 4:8 "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
Do they encourage or teach people to live by the Spirit or rather set up all sorts of rules? The Old Covenant didn't work and was shown to be inadequate. It was merely a foreshadow and setup for the New Covenant. Luke 10:27 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and Love your neighbor as yourself." Jesus, Himself, said this was the entire Law! If we live by the Holy Spirit in us "It Sets The Absolutes In Our Hearts!" We need to learn how to listen, act on the Spirit, and receive the Awesome Power of the Spirit! We do need to test that it is the Spirit. It will conform to the whole of God's Word, not be muddled by our own desires or faulty convictions. The Spirit will put the laws, love of God in our hearts. He gives discernment. "Those" are the Powerful laws we must be living by. Incredibly powerful to the tearing down of all strongholds, so freeing, and so beautiful. "Trust" in the Holy Spirit in us, it's an Amazing process, progression, depth, and a Spiritual maturing.
MY HEART
John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you" ...Powerful!
We are called to action. I have seen so many that rejected God just even by the way the gospel was presented to them. It breaks my heart.
We are Nurtured and Loved. "Mark 4"
Rooted firmly in good soil.
Jesus plants the seed.
Waters and nurtures us in His perfect love.
Keeps our soil rich.
Roots out the weeds.
Trims and prunes us.
Puts us high on a lamp stand,
So the fruit we produce
Shines brightly and cannot be hid.
He calms the storms.
We grow so that we can also work with Him in the harvest. And the preparation of the Bride(the Church) for her wedding when He returns. We know that is a great and wonderful day, but it is only the beginning. He Loves Us! I truly hope I can always be rooted and founded strong on which to build trust, faith and Love for our Almighty Creator and each other. ...we will all have to get along, in love, in the Kingdom!
And that all foundations, strength, and love may continually grow stronger, deeper and be more solidly founded in our Awesome, Great Loving God.
Matt 11:29 "My yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Heb 10:22-25 ..."with a sincere heart... having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. ...let us encourage one another--and all the more as we see the Day approaching."

LOVE vs FEAR
"Traditional" Christians push the idea of fear as being the solution to everything. If we just fear God enough we won't mess up and sin. That's Old Covenant, the New tells us to love God with our Whole Mind and Being and our neighbor as ourselves. The Holy Spirit guides us and develops God's love in us as we also grow in depth of comprehending the all-encompassing, powerful love He has for us. That's where the strength to break all strongholds comes through. There are actually, healthy elements of fear in love. The devil would have us reject God as angry, vengeful, and cold-hearted. God understands us and all we've been through, He is working an Awesome purpose in us each, in His, only, Infinite, Love for us. He is all powerful and will of necessity serve His vengeance on the devil and his followers when He has deemed right, but it's in His Awesome Love that we conqueror all. As His love in us grows we also grow.
2 Timothy 1:7 and Romans 8:15 Not a Spirit of fear.

FRUITS of the SPIRIT
Gal 5:18,22+23 "if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law." "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Matt. 21:43 The Kingdom will be given to those who produce it's fruit.

SPEAKING BLESSING
Not to be mistaken for the "prosperity gospel" or "the law of attraction." We need to guard against manipulation, it seems almost everyone wants to try to control these days with "desirable" ideas or thoughts. Sway us to their way of thinking and perhaps distraction. What do we, in our heart, believe? Talking negatively or positively, in effect, prophecies our future to some extent because it's what we believe. It becomes who we are. We can't speak negative and in faith, expect positive at the same time. Of course God still does as He wills. Luke 11:9 We are told to ask for what we desire, and then, in faith, we thank Him, until, as we continually, seek him with our whole heart. That is an aspect of living faith. He Loves us. His will, will be done, He has a plan for us each, He only wants the best for us. If we were of the Israelites coming out of Egypt, of what persuasion would we have been? The grumbler or the faithful (faithful and thankful are really synonymous)? Be only Blessed!
...it's in the "little details" or a twist in the details that the devil usually leads us astray!
The SPIRIT INTERCEEDS on our behalf
Romans 8:14-28 "those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. You did not receive a spirit of fear, but of the Spirit of sonship. By him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children, heirs of God. ...the Spirit intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express... we know God works all things for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
MUCH EXPECTED
Luke 12:48 Of everyone who has been given much, much will also be expected.
NOT in FEAR
Matt. 25:14-28 Parable of the talents. We aren't to live in a spirit of fear, but be faithful stewards of all He has given us and multiply it, bearing the fruit of the spirit. Those who don't, even what was given them will be taken away.

That's the Spirit, to the tearing down of strongholds, the love and edifying of the saints
INFINITE POWER
We each have direct access to our Almighty God, His Infinite Power, in affect, in our hands. Luke 10:18-20 "authority ... to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."
Abide, Seek, Commit Matt 5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness." John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you" ...Powerful! Psalm 37:4-5 "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him ... He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." 1Chron. 28:9 "...serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever."
